  He went to Africa to work and was infected with some sort of disease. He just recieve a kidney transplant last week.

  He only has 1 kidney from when he was stabbed years ago and now he picked up some disease in Africa that ruined the other kidney.  But, he got a kidney transplant 2 weeks back so no more dialysis.

  I watched the last episode and he wasn't even on there. It must've been mentioned on some other show. BTW I can't believe today is the finale. I love that show.

  I have watched this show religiously for the past 9 years (the shows I missed I always caught up with on TBS or one of those channels). this season has been awesome IMO and I'm so so so sad to see it go
