anyone still terrified going shopping with DC?

we hooked up our brand new front loader late last night (3am) and i am **dying** to go to wallyworld and pick up HE detergent lmao. but DS hates being left in his carseat (bloody murder "this lady is abusing me" type screams) and hates the moby (we are working on the frontward position sometime this weekend. i think he has enough head control but not positive). so anywhere i go, i have to carry him by hand with DH tagging along. lol. it makes me anxious thinking about taking him alone...... i have about two and half weeks worth of laundry to do. we closed on our house three weeks ago and decided to "upgrade" it a bit before moving in. well as of today, it's all finished!!!! DS needs clean clothes that actually FIT him and i want to play with my new toy. i will just have to put my big girl panties on and not care if DS starts freaking out. but ?i envy those who have silent babies who love sleeping and/or content in their carseats while shopping. lol.?

    Does he like his stroller with out the carrier in it? Ds loves to look around at the world.

    My DD also HATES being in her car seat when we shop or go walking, so I either put her in the Bjorn or in the regular part of the stroller.  Our stroller has head support, and she much prefers front facing. 

    Will he stay asleep if you drive around for a while before shopping?
