Please rate your stroller/travel system

I need some advice. I don't know what travel system to get. I want safety, lightweight, and easy to use, without being too costly, probably impossible. I have a 2004 Jeep Liberty, so anyone with the same vehicle recommend what did or didn't work for you.

TIA

Re: Please rate your stroller/travel system

  • I don't have a Liberty, so i can't help you there, but we have been really happy with the Chicco carseat. Instead of the Cortina stroller, we got the Trevi.  You have to buy them separately, but the seat snaps into the stroller, and the Trevi is a little smaller and more lightweight than the Cortina.  So far we've been happy with both.  HTH!

  • I have a BOB Stroller and I love it.. but it is very costly(mine was a gift) and also takes up a lot of room in the car.  So you could probably cross that off your list if that helps

  • I have the chicco travel system.  Very happy with it.  The carseat is very easy to install.  The stroller is great, DH and I are both tall and the handle is adjustable.  My only compliant is the stroller doesn't fit well in my trunk but that shouldn't be a problem with your Jeep.
  • We have the Chicco Cortina for DS and I love it!  I drive a Honda CRV so the stroller does take up a large portion of the back end but it is easy to use and the car seat is great.  It has extra padding built in that was so nice when we were leaving hospital with DS.  I always felt like he was very safe!  Now that he is bigger we were able to take that out.  I liked the price of this travel system too.  I thought it was very reasonable and we were able to get it at BRU and use a coupon to get an extra 20% off which was nice!  Best of luck finding something!
