So, I had my u/s today. It went really well. I have a relatively low risk of Down's 1:1440 and a really low risk for Trisomy 13/18 1:10,000. The Dr. said I had the typical risk of a 20 year old, and since I will be 35 when I deliver - I will take it.
Because my risks are low, we aren't going to do any further testing (amnio) other than the 20 week u/s.
It was so cool to hear the heartbeat and see the peanut kicking, waving, and flipping around.
I go back next week for a glucose test (thanks PCOS) and my regular OB appointment.
Just wanted to share my good news.
