Hi Ladies,
It seems like this question gets asked a lot, so it got me thinking that it deserves a poll. Hopefully this will become a useful resource to one and all

Re: Clicky Poll: Which Hospital Would You Pick?
We are going to deliver up at Fairview Wyoming. I work for Fairview so due to insurance, this is our best coverage. We live in Blaine and so my 2 closest options were Riverside or Wyoming. I have been to Riverside many times and it feels too cramped and hectic with all of the traffic and construction. The Wyoming hospital is newer and smaller and has free parking!! We have been very pleased with our OB and the birth classes so I have no fears about delivering there.
I voted for Mercy but could've voted for Other too.
I delivered my first son at Fairview Riverside and my second at Mercy. I liked both of them, very much - no complaints.
We're doing Methodist. Their birthing suites are beautiful and state of the art.
And, it's close to our house!
We're going to Saint Joseph's in DT Saint Paul. I was born there and it's 5 minutes from where we live, if that.

We delivered our first at Abbott because of Childrens Hospital and it was really nice, everyone was great and the food was good too.
Our son was born at Mercy and everyone was awesome there.
You forgot all the HealthEast hospitals. St Johns, St Josephs, and Woodwinds. They are all excellent hospitals. I delivered at St Joes and had an absolutely wonderful experience. I had a very difficult delivery and they kept the scary parts away from me so I could focus on what I needed to do. Only after the delivery did I know all the details. I had a very severe case of Pre-E and my kidneys and lungs were shutting down and they kept me calm and at ease until they could fix it. If I had panicked it would have made everything so much worse.
My son was perfect and I healed up nicely.
I had DS at United and will never go to any other hospital again. They were amazing in every aspect. I had a great labor, delivery and recovery. The staff was awesome and let choose how I wanted to labor (EPI, breaking my water, laboring down, etc.) I tell all of my friends and family to go there. I am pretty much in the same area as you and it didn't take that long to get there.
I have had bad experiences at Unity as have a lot of people that I know so that is why I won't go there for anything. That is even the closest hospital to DS's daycare and I told them not to take him there if there was an emergency.
