We bought a couple outfits after we found out we were having a boy.
Then we had our shower and got so. many. clothes. We won't need to buy anything until around 9 months. I'm almost scared for what the next shower will bring in clothes-wise. I won't be buying any more.
I have been buying baby clothes. I cannot even go into a store without hitting up the baby section. If you saw some really cute outfits, I say buy them.
I have bought a few things. I bought some gender neutral things when I was about 10 weeks, just because I was shopping with my grandma and we were excited. Then when we found out it was a boy, I had to buy a few boy things! Both my mom and DH reminded me that we'd probably be getting a lot of clothes as gifts, so I should stop... then I focused on a registry!
We just found out we're having a boy, yesterday, but my mom knew all along and has picked up a number of things are $1 at Walmart...so we've bought a few things. I'm nervous about sizing! We wandered around BRU yesterday and wanted to buy so much, but it's hard to tell. I was in 3 month clothing when was born and my DH turned out to be SUPER chubby after being born at a normal weight, so I'm nervous to buy much. We've picked up some funny onesies though...but that's it. GL!!

I don't let myself look at baby clothes. I don't know the sex yet but I do know myself and I am a shopoholic. I am doing my best to wait until after my shower and buy the things I still NEED for the baby. I know that we won't be leaving the house much in the months after I have the baby so I am not going to go crazy buying all these outfits the baby will most likely never wear. Just resist the temptation.

A couple. I know technically I'm not, but I FEEL safe. I feel her moving all the time, I know the sex, I'm 1/2 way through ... And I can't help it. They're just so tiny and cute!!!!!!!!!
We've bought a couple of gender-neutral things here and there but we've mostly been buying sports stuff. The baby is going to be STOCKED in Packers & White Sox onesies!
I've bought so many gender neutral things that people won't know the sex of the baby until it's 9 months! LOL seriously though, I'm not having a shower so I kinda have to stock up myself. I stopped buying stuff a few weeks ago because I know once I find out the sex next week I'll buy more.
I say buy a few things if you love them but don't go crazy. And I keep hearing not to buy newborn stuff.
We have a deal that we can buy stuff we love if it's on clearance or really cheap to being with (under $5). I wouldn't buy a full-price outfit yet, no matter how cute.?
Contemplating the snow.

I can't go back to yesterday - because I was a different person then. ~ Alice
I have, but very little - maybe half a dozen outfits I've found on clearance. I lost my job at the first of the year, so money is tight, and of course - we'll get some at the showers.
As much as I wanted a girl first, I'm kinda glad we're having a boy cuz it would be so hard to resist all the cute dresses. And there's just not as many clothes for boys as there is for girls, which pisses me off on behalf of my LO, but, again - keeps me from buying things I don't need to buy! LOL
Mom on the other hand.....she's gone crazy! But what are grandmas for, right?
I am not buying anything until it gets here. My ds was 7 weeks early by the time he got into the clothes we had been given the season was different. Now I am a buy as he grows kinda girl.?
Since I found out I was pregnant at 9 weeks along I can't go into a store without buying something for baby!
I bought several gender neutral pieces prior to finding out the sex and my mother has been buying boy clothing (she "just knew") since we announced it at 12 weeks. Since it was confirmed that the "it" is now a boy (nearly 3 wks ago) I've gone crazy buying clothes. Which should all work out well and good, I hate doing laundry and after the baby is born I could probably go a month or two without washing if I wanted!
I've only bought a couple of onesies. I found pks of carters white onesies @ Tj Maxx for $9.99, so I bought some of those... you can use those for a boy or a girl.
Our daughter is going to be one well dressed baby! We have been buying things for awhile now, and then we kind of went crazy after we found out we're having a girl. However, we only buy things on sale/clearance, and we have bought a variety of sizes. I know we'll get clothes as gifts, but this is our first baby and we're excited to buy all of these things!
When we found out it was a boy we bought some packs of onesies at the Carter's Outlet near us, 12$ for 5 so we got a few month groups just to have something. Also all the Fred Myers near us are re-modeling and they had a TON of baby clothes on clearance (60% off) so we got a few 5$ thing because we knew even on consignment we wouldn't find those prices later. I don't think we'll get anything more until after the baby showers unless we see sales that good.
We have officially bought 6 things (2 onesies, an overall outfit, and 3 sleepers). My mom and MIL have bought tons though, so we just keep letting them buy for us!
I haven't, but my Mom and my MIL are going crazy buying things, and we don't even know what we're having!! So we hae tons of green and yellow outfits! They are hard to pass up though....they're so cute and little!
I've been bad and bought a lot! I've been buying all sorts of sizes though, so not just buying things for her to wear right away. I just can't help it!

I've bought a few things that were on super clearance. I will buy more at consignment stores/garage sales. I'm not having a shower, so I think that makes a difference. I am sitting on my hands waiting for garage sale season though... I keep telling myself baby clothes are worn for such a short time that used is fine. I'm sure I will go waaayy overboard with the garage sale stuff though. It's so cheap!
I have been buying a few things that were dirt cheap. Since we don't know what we are having everything we have is yellow/green, with the excpetion to the 1 girl item I bought. Hopefully it's a girl!

"You're gonna miss this You're gonna want this back You're gonna wish these days hadn't gone by so fast..."
ugh, i'm being told to wait as well until after the shower, but mine isnt' until June. WAAAA! the torture!!
heck, when i go grocery shopping, sometimes...i just so happen...to wander down the baby aisle...and poke at diapers and wipes...
God help me, I'm screwed

I did not buy anything until we found out the gender. We have several things for him now. I could not help but buy somethings.
