ladies who make diapers:

It seems like a lot of the fitteds have a jersey outer layer and prints can sometimes be limited. ?Have you had any luck using a flannel, or woven cotton (like quilting fabric) that doesn't stretch? ?Do you have to do anything differently?

    all of mine are woven or flannel on the outside.  I like that it gives them some stability.

    Awesome! ?Did you have the alter the pattern at all? ?I read something about making the tabs longer if you are using a non stretchy fabric.

    A lot people use non stretchy fabrics. You should be fine with cotton prints but I'd stay away from quilting calico. It's generally pretty thin and won't hold up for very long under the diaper washing routine.

    i didn't make my diapers, my mother did. she used flannel and they turned out great!

    thanks! ?I wondered about the cotton broadcloth. ?I bought some cute flannel today and a cute jersey print. ?I am going to experiment on both! ?

    Now I just need my fit model to incubate and get born!
