It seems like a lot of the fitteds have a jersey outer layer and prints can sometimes be limited. ?Have you had any luck using a flannel, or woven cotton (like quilting fabric) that doesn't stretch? ?Do you have to do anything differently?
A lot people use non stretchy fabrics. You should be fine with cotton prints but I'd stay away from quilting calico. It's generally pretty thin and won't hold up for very long under the diaper washing routine.
