So, I've heard some hospitals in the area give you some kind of postpartum support wrap for your stomach if you have a c/s. Does Beaumont do this? If not, I was thinking of buying one, but I want to have an idea ahead of time so that I don't have to run out once the babies are here . . .
Thanks!
Re: Troy beaumont and c/s
yes they give you one. I had a c/s and twins.
they also give you sleepsacks that have the swaddle part on them too.
Good luck with your delivery!
Yeah- they had a wrap that they called a binder something (belt, wrap, ??). That was nice!! It seems like it would hurt because it's pretty tight, but it helped everything feel less sore.
And like the pp said- they give you a halo sleepsack with the swaddle wrap as your "present". That thing was a lifesaver!! We didn't use it too often because it made DS really hot, but anytime he got super fussy, we'd wrap him up snuggly, give him his pacifier and a few minutes later he was clam and would usually fall asleep. It's nice too because there's a lot of velcro, so their arms can't escape. No matter how much I swaddled with a regular blanket, he'd always break free.
