Okay. How do I get shoes on this kid?

I can get her Robeez on just fine by tickling her feet, but I bought her some little tennies from BRU today and for the life of me I can't get them on her.  They're the right size too, they just will. not. go. on.  It's the same thing with her Converse hightops - I think I have them on her and the next thing I know she's chewing on this pink shoe.  Argh!!

    Hmmm...are her feet really wide? ?That's the problem with K. ?His were too wide and fat on top to fit in real shoes. ?I had to go to Stride Rite to find some to fit. ?Luckily, I found a SR outlet and got his $50 shoes for $19. ?They are 5's in Xtra wide.

    I just got Jared "real" shoes this week.  They are black skecher tennis shoes.  He is stylin'!

    I had the hardest time with the Converse crib shoes in the beginning too.  My MIL told me that babies don't know how to bend their feet to get shoes on, so I ended up pushing on the ball of his foot to flatten out his feet in them.  Then I kind of smooshed them on the rest of the way.  :)  He never took them off himself, but he ALWAYS untied them.  His new tennis shoes have velcro & he already knows how to get them open, but not off yet.  :P
