How are all of our new mommies doing????

I want updates!!! :) If you're BFing, how's that going? How are you doing recovery wise? Sleep wise? How's your hubs handling becoming a daddy? Anything you couldn't live without right now??

:) I hope everyone is doing GREAT! The first few weeks are strange... once you make it to 6 weeks everything starts to make sense!!! (at least it did for us...)?

    Hoping to just follow in your tracks Lauren!  I'm bfing, but also pumping and giving a formula supplement one/night.  James gets a huge appetite at night and I can't seem to satisfy him with bfing alone.  But giving the formula helps him (and us )sleep.  :)

    Hey Lauren and Kate

     

    Well, I am totally overwhelmed.  Isabella is doing well.  We had to go back to the pediatrician b/c of a clogged tear duct...but other than that, she is doing well.

     

    She does not sleep well at night, of course, which is hard on us.  I am overly anxious to sleep and I know she picks up on that.  My DH is exhausted all the time it seems! 

     

    On top of all the adjustments, we sold our house less than a week after she was born.  And they want us out immediately.  We are in the middle of packing and moving.  We have to go to a hotel for a few days before our new house is even ready.  

     

    I am glad she will not remember this time in life for sure.  

     

    Please keep telling me it gets better.  There are days when I just do not think I can do this...but I know I can.  Just crazy talk!! LOL

    Oh...I forgot...BFing is going pretty well.  We had a rough start, but we've got a plan now and it's working.  I even did it in the bathroom today at the doctor's office.  Not comfortable, but it worked.  She's eating enough and gaining weight...that's all that matters....Big Smile

    Ohhh, I am.  If I can just get moved and settled, life will be MUCH better I know.  It's just getting to that point.  We're looking forward to our "mini" hotel vacation on Sunday....out of this house...just waiting to move into the new one!
