baby same size as last appt...?

just wondering if this has happened to anyone else? my appts. are every 2 weeks now and DS seems to be the same size as he was 2 weeks ago. he has had a pattern of same size-same size-big growth throughout our appts, so i am hoping that is just what it is. the midwife didn't seem overly concerned because i am gaining weight, he is active and has a great heartbeat. i've done everything right and don't want to have to worry about there being a problem. is this more common than i am thinking it is? or am i just 'special?'

    Most Drs wont even tell you an apprx size because its hard to be accurate. Have you been getting sonos? I was evven told that sometimes they can be off up to 1 lb.

    BTW my Dr thought my dd was an average size. She was 4lb 13 oz, very unexpected.

    we have only had 1 ultrasound and it was at 20 weeks. the midwife is basing growth on the measurements of where the top of my uterus is.

    Oh,  ok. Im having an issue with measuring right now too. For a while I was 2 weeks ahead. Jumped to 3.5. Then dropped back to .5 and now I am up to measuring 44 weeks at just 38. They did an u/s last week. The baby is average size. I just have excess fluid. If I were you I wouldnt worry. The Dr told me that it can also fluctuate depending on the babies position. Maybe if it keeps p they will send you for another u/s.
