We put the boys down a 1/2 hr early and they slept until 6:30 and 7 but ONLY after being awake in the middle of the night. Max woke at 2:30 screaming (I bring him to our bed so he doesn't wake Luke). He babbles and can't seem to find sleep in our bed so dh says, "to the pnp" and I say, "he's going to scream and wake Luke even from here." He says, no he wont and we put a screaming Max in a pnp (at 3:30) and he wakes up Luke. So now, 2 crying babies and I snap - I haul out the bottles thinking this is a sure fire way to put them back to sleep - um nope! Finally, dh takes Max and puts him in his crib and we let him CIO. He finally does sleep and Luke too goes back down around 4:45. All this and my dh heads for the basement bedroom after he dumps Max in his crib - next time, he's down there sooner. We all would have had more sleep.
I can hardly keep my eyes open so no more complaining about early waking times. 5:30 is better than this...
oh, and it's snowing! Where the he!! is spring?
Re: Well, THAT didn't work (kinda long)
uhhhhh that is no good! yeah the boys got us up twice each last night and i just did not have the heart to let them CIO because they are sick...so they got bottles each time
which means once they are better we are going to have to start allllllll over again with the sleep training because that is their big cruch. sigh.
awww....snow? really?
