    One of my teachers told us about this is class today so I hope it's not an April Fools joke.

    Us too... DH looked it up after FIL called and made sure we were fully updated. What's sad is DH is in school for computer networking and had not heard of it until FIL called... none of his teachers had mentioned it.

    My hubby is a systems administrator/ network guy.... and he made me update all our computers today, so I'm guessing not an april fool's joke.

    The worm is real, the fact that it is supposed to communicate with a server today is real, but there is no way of knowing what happens after that communication occurs.
