Does anyone know, is there an organization that will come to your home to pick up donations? We have some things we'd like to donate... a desk, a dresser, etc. but we don't have a truck the stuff to somewhere like Goodwill, Salvation Army, etc.
I could have sworn there was a place that picked up donations but I can't seem to find any info online.. am I crazy? Or does anyone know what I'm talking about?
We had previously thought of having a yard sale but decided we'd like to donate instead...
Thanks!
Hannah

Good to know! Thanks!
Although, I just looked at the VV site and it says they don't accept larger furniture items which is what we have... like the desk and dresser.
Def. good info to have though for the future though!!

Looks like you already found someone, but just wanted to say that we've used the Lupus Foundation before. It says on their website that they will take desks and dressers:

We use St.Vincent de Paul for larger item pick-up. We had them take old washer & dryers when we moved in.
