We saw it in theaters on Christmas (the day I found out we were PG) with my pregnant sister and BIL... they all told me it was too early to pull the 'PG emotions card' but I didn't try to hide the fact that I cried like a baby!! I can't imagine watching it now, when my emotions are totally out of control.
Even my husband and BIL were still teary-eyed leaving the theater. ?
Honestly, not that the dog dying didn't make me sob.... but seeing her go through the missed m/c while pregnant was much harder.. That was awful (not to mention I hadn't had my 1st OB appt yet and it made me worry for weeks) I wish someone had warned me about that!

I am so interested in seeing this. Thanks for the warning.
It is a very good movie. It's happy and sad, however I didn't know it was supposed to be sad. I do recommend seeing it... just be prepared to bawl like a baby!
I watched this with my fiance when it came out and I got to tell you it was a great book and I am going to read the book (backwards I know). We have four pets and each one of them is special to me.

This. I actually almost turned the movie off! I am almost 10 weeks as she was so it really hit home.

We saw this at the theater Christmas Day. I was pregnant, but didn't know yet and I cried a ton! Not only because of the m/c part (I found out I had a m/c at a ultrasound too 6 years ago) but mostly through a lot of the movie! It was good, but definitely a tear jerker.

My DH told his buddies at work if they watch the movie and don't get a little teary, they are heartless. Obviously, he did! lol!
I was a huge bawl bag, in a crowded theater, and then they turn the lights on... not good!
A friend told me not to watch it! I went through a missed miscarriage in Sept 2008... so I know I wouldn't take it well at all! Not going to see it!
