Earlier i posted asking about sunscreen for the little ones. Then at 3:00 i decided to take them for a walk in the Double snap and go. When the sun was in their eyes, i pulled the car seat cover over them but when we got home i realized that both of my babies had gotten sun. Uggh! I feel horrible! It is not like they are all out burnt but i feel bad about it.
I'm guessing i'll have to put the sunscreen on them daily. This is probably a dumb question but- Does that mean i should start bathing them daily now? They are 4 months old.
Re: I get the Bad Mommy of the Day award...
it happens.
last year at the st. pats parade DS got a little burned on his cheeks- i had not even thought of sunscreen b/c it was our first time outside for a long time....
this year- i said "i need to remember sunscreen" - and i did bring it- but forgot to put it on until it was almost the end of the parade- duh... he got rosy cheeks again.
I know this may sound stupid, but babies under six month should not wear sunscreen. It has something to do with them having trouble sweating.

Our pedi said the same thing when Emmy was that small.
My pedi's nurse said the same thing. The reason she gave was that their skin is so thin that it just soaks in and doesn't help anyway. She just suggested we keep them out of the sun or make sure they were covered up.
