How long does it take for a cyst to go away?

After my last round of injectables I was rewarded with a cyst on my left ovary. They put me on BCP this month to get rid of it.

Should it be gone after 1 month of BCP?

I say this because I took my last BCP a few days ago and i'm starting to cramp - not normal AF cramp, but sharp stabby cramps.

I fear its not gone. And, there might be another on my right side. It hurts the worst there.

I had a 41mm cyst....completely disappeared on its own in 8 days.
