if you have VS folder over yoga pants - sizing question

According to the size chart if your hips are 38-39" then you're a medium, 40-42.5" then you're a large. anyone have experience with the sizing? Just curious if you measure your hips, do you have the size they suggest and how do they fit? I want to order a couple pairs today but not sure what size b/c I'm not sure if it's accurate.

My hips are probably a bit bigger than that and I wear the L. I'm a size 14 normally.

I bought mediums (size 8 normally). I love them!

I have no idea how large my hips are around, but they are not small!

ETA: I have found that VS pants run big. I normally buy smalls in many of them.

Oh, and they usually have free shipping and returns (at least i get them with my angel card). So sometimes when they are having a sale, I order things in two different sizes and just return the ones that don't fit.

I wore extra small prepreg and have gone up to mediums now. I've gained about 25 lbs so far in the preg. I haven't wanted to measure my hips or anything else to know how much they have changed though!
