Anyone taken Femara?

I'm starting Femara tonight. I'm wondering, would anyone be willing to share their experiences with me? Thanks in advance!

I took Femara for 2 cycles, on cd 3-7. I did ovulated on it with no horrible s/e. I was one of the few % that developed cysts with it. It is very uncommon with Femara, I was just one of the unlucky ones! Good luck!

I'm on my third and final IUI with Femara right now, but I have never taken it in conjunction with Menopur. Femara is similar to Clomid, but the side effects are usually more mild. With Femara, I get some mild night sweats during the five days that I actually take the drug, and that's about it. It does not dry up CM or thin the uterine lining the way Clomid does (or at least not for me). Overall my experience with it has been good, except for the fact that I haven't gotten pregnant. Hope this is your month!

Femara Rocks!

Clomid sucks donkey balls. You will def. like it better than Clomid.

I didn't have any side effects and this helped me get pregnant! I had trouble ovulating, and I took it for 2 months. The first month it helped me ovulate, which gave me a period w/o using Provera. The second month I got pregnant!!!! Good luck!!!!

I took it too and had no side effects whatsoever. I didn't ovulate on it though. I used it in conjunction with repronex. I apparently produce too much LH, so Repronex was working against me. Too bad I found this out after 8 month of cancelled cycles. Angry
