almost lost my freeze stash today

We had no electricity from 9:45am-5:30 pm. Thankfully, my sil let me bring my frozen bm to her house to store in her freezer before it started to thaw. I had 60oz frozen, I think I would have had a nervous breakdown if I lost it.

    I would have an aneruysm (sp?). I have 500 in the freezer and 30 more in the fridge.

    that was my biggest fear- my entire deep freezer was FULL to the brim with milk (well over 6,000oz). I have donated milk four times. And we had a power outage once and i SCREAMED 'OMG MY MILK' as the lights FIRST went out.

    DH was completely confused. lol

    phew!!  i never even considered what id do if we had a power outtage.  now im going to panic whenever there is a thunderstorm!!

    we're buying a generator for this very reason. we lose power frequently in the summer. something about the grid we're on sucks. i have over 600oz and would flip out if i lost it all.
