Babies: 0 - 3 Months

Why did NO ONE tell me???

Huggies SUCK?  I would seriously be better off wrapping a paper towel around my daughter butt than using huggies.  Even if it's just a pee diaper and I change her every hour, she soaks through her onsie, outfit, blankets, everything.  Pampers...never once had a problem with them.

I guess that's why huggies are cheaper.

i have used a total of 5 huggies. i hate them. it seems like people either love them or hate them...it's a fit issue in DD's case.

  • I really didn't like them with DD #1, BUT I called their customer service line and the service was excellent. I ended up getting a bunch of wipes for free because their diapers were really bad.

  • They are the only ones ds doesn't soak through.  Guess it just depends on the baby but I've heard lots of people with boys like huggies and girls pampers.

  • Huggies work well for us.  They are supposedly better for boys and Pampers are better for girls.  We use both and don't have trouble with either.  Huggies cost the same amount here too.

this is what i've heard too. i don't care for their wipes so far either. maybe i just didn't try the right ones, but they seem scratchy and DD hated them on her bum!
  • I also despise Huggies.  I feel like they don't unfold right and so they cause a lot of leaking.  I teach infants at a daycare, and I feel like the kids with Huggies leak way more often.

I've heard a lot of women say that about huggies and their daughters...but I think Huggies are better for my DD. She always has leaks and blow-outs in Pampers :( And Luvs are just cheap...

  • HEY! Huggies suck!!! Sorry, I couldn't help it!!
  • I actually don't have an issue w/any diapers.  We've had blowouts with every brand if it's bad enough, otherwise, they all work fine.

  • We got tons of diapers for one of our showers and have all different sizes of pampers, huggies and luvs. We're finding that each size the babies are they start out with the pampers and then switch to huggies before gong up to the next size. it's seemed to work great so far. And yes, luvs just suck at any stage.
