Can I bring makeup on a plane?

We are flying to vegas on thursday morning. Its just dh and I and its only over night so we are just packing our clothes in our carry on bag and taking it on with us. we are near a walgreens so I was going to buy tavel toothpaste and things like that once we get there but can I bring my make up and flat iron? my make up is lose powder, mascara and lip gloss.

You can bring liquid makeup and lip gloss and mascara if it's 3 oz or less and if it fits in a quart-sized ziploc bag (one per person). Flat iron is fine and powdered makeup is too.
