I have been reading these boards for a little while, and finally got up the nerve to start talking today.
My problem is this - every night right before bedtime my 3.5 month old screams unconsolably for around 30-60 min. No matter what I do. I am beginning to feel like we are doing something wrong.
We have a little routine. We change her into pajamas, try to eat the last bottle of the day (this is a struggle, she wants to scream instead) and then daddy rocks her to sleep in the dark.
We tried a nighttime bath - that just made her scream louder and longer, and I turn out all of the lights to make it calm. But nothing seems to stop her. I would love any suggestions.

Yep. I'm betting shes overtired.
Everything I read does seem to indicate that she is overtired.
However, she takes a little 20 minute nap at 6pm. Then she is all happy, awake and talking until she starts screaming at 7. We start the bedtime routine at 7pm every night. She usually goes down between 7:30 and 8pm, so I am not sure how much earlier I could try.
Should I try stopping that last cat nap everyday?
