NER: Lady on Freecycle

I was on freecycle and there is a woman on there who just found out yesterday that her long wait, wanting to adopt a baby, has finally come and she gets a baby boy in 2 weeks.  AHH!!  Well, she has NOTHING for him and I want to be able to help her out.  I have some clothes and a few other things that my ds isn't using/can't fit into any more.  Any ideas of what else I could do to help her out?  I'm racking my brain trying to think of other things.  I don't even know her but I want to help...TIA

    Formula checks?

    We just gave a lady a bottle sanitizer we weren't using, an infant seat/snap n go frame, a bunch of clothes, and some stuffed animals that DD didn't need.

    Good for you for helping her!

    Do you belong to a mom's group? You could see if anyone else has anything that they could donate.  Also, if you have any formula samples, she may be able to use them.

    thanks!  I didn't think about the formula checks, and I have a TON of those that I've been saving...even though I (hopefully) will never need them.  My son doesn't know how to suck on a bottle so it would be pretty hard if something happened!  I also went around my house and found blankets, unopened pacifiers, baby spoons, qtips, head supports, a playtime mat and a BUNCH of coupons, some for free stuff!!  I hope that she can use it all.  Thanks for the ideas! Smile
