Back from ultrasound: High Dopplers?!?

Just got back from an ultrasound and the babies umbilical cord dopplers are up.  They have me coming in again on Friday.  What does this mean?  They tech didn't explain anything. 

 Any help/advise would be great!  Thanks

    This just happened to me on Friday. Baby B's was higher than usual (but still within the normal range) so they brought me back today for another u/s and NST to double-check things. It means that the resistance in the cord blood flow is higher. It can be something simple like one of them is pressing on the cord (positional) or a sign of something more serious. My guess is that since they didn't send you to L&D for observation you're in a similar boat to me. Just take it easy, get lots of rest (lie down when possible) and hopefully you'll have great news on Friday. Ours were excellent today, so obviously the one on the cord moved off.

    Thanks - that helps me relax a bit!  It was irritating that the ultrasound tech didn't have any other info for me.
