I was updating a colleague about my situation yesterday (being in pregnancy limbo), and commented about it being a roller coaster. She said, "yes, but the good thing about roller coasters is that they have high points".
I thought that was a neat way of looking at it - I've been so focused on the lows that I haven't let myself be happy about the highs.
so there's my profound thought for the day, which was actually stolen from someone else. ![]()
