Just ordered more CD's. What else do I need at first??

I just ordered more prefolds and covers (sigh, money is sooo tight, I had to convince myself it would payoff in the end.)  So, to start I now have: about 20 wipes (but will be making more this weekend) 26 prefolds, and 5 covers 4 Thirsties and 1 Bummi's (couldn't resist the cute flower print.)  I'm sure I need more, but want to be cost-effective.  What else is a MUST have for a newborn?  Thanks!!

    You could probably make due with that, to be honest.  I'd say you're pretty good on covers, having a few more pf would be nice, but not a must as long as you're ok doing laundry at least every other day.  A fitted or two might be nice for late night changes, but definitely not a must.  The only thing I can thing of are snappis (or diaper pins, if you want to go that route).  Also - do you have something for a pail liner (some just use a pillowcase, or you can buy a pail liner) and a wetbag for outings. 

    I love that flower print bummis, too.  If DS were DD, I'd have gotten them in several sizes by now.

    I think you're good on everything. I have 9 covers (3 backups if all of them are dirty/washing) so in actuallity I only use 6. I have the flower print bummis and like it, its really cute :)

    Also to add. I have 24 prefolds and wash every 3 days. By the time I wash DD has gone through 20 prefolds, if that helps any.

    That sounds pretty good to me.  I was going to say maybe a few more wipes but you could definitely get by on what you already have :)

    I think you will do great with what you have!

    If I were you, I would buy a few fitteds or AIOs (maybe 6), a wetbag (I like the ones that zip closed), and a snappi.  You could probably find everything else you needed second hand on diaperswappers to be cost effective.
