How I heart Chick-fil-a

I wish I knew how they seasoned thier chicken, it is just amaazzzinng.  Their waffle fries delush.  And they gave a cookie to my doggy, and an actual dog cookie at that (McD's gives her sugar cookies).  Now I must digest and get to work packing for the big move.

  • Oo that sounds really good for lunch! Thanks for the idea!! :)

  • Yuuuuumm... Chicky nuggets with polynesian sauce...
  • I also heart Chick-fil-a, so I know what you mean. Those waffle fries are insanely delish and their chicken sammies...yum!! They are one of the only fast food chains where being polite is a staple. Good thing I crave their food and not McD's!

  • I agree wholeheartedly!  Chick-fil-a is easily the greatest fast-food!!
  • I've only had their chicken mini things (?) and they're GOOD! But we dont' go there a lot b/c all the religious stuff is uncomfortable for us. Not what I need while I am eating! haha

Religeous stuff? Ours must be different than yours. Ours is closed Sunday but they don't have anything religeous, and they don't say anything.

  • Not trying to start anything, since usually the "R" word does, but what religious stuff?  Just curious.  I know they close on Sunday, as they have Christian owners.  I dunno, I just like thier food!

As another poster said, they are always so polite, which is rare, especially here.  Most fast food places are staffed by high school kids that dont give a crap, have all kinds of piercings, and may or may not wear gloves (I got moldy bread from a McD's before!).  Thier politeness is certainly a plus...they dont even do the loud sigh if I ask for extra sauce.

Like what? The ones in my area just close for Sunday. I've never seen anything else religious, but I would be right there with you!
  • Oh, and according to MSN today its one of the healthiest places to eat, as far as calorie intake, which is a big plus.

  • I love that when I say "Thank you", they reply with "My pleasure, ma'am"

don't they have bible verses & such on their containers?

  • Sorry, I didnt' mean to have that start anything - I was just saying why i don't get there more often even though what I've had is yummy. It's just a very religious company and last time we were there, there were different religious things on the walls, etc. due to their funded organizations, etc.  It's one of those companies that I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of their profits go into funding things or principles I don't really love, so I tend to not spend money at places like that (ie: Curves, too). JMO. Their food is decent ;)

Oh, I don't know.... we have a mall food court version, so I am not sure..

  • My bag says "Which came first? Chicken or Diploma?" its about the money they donate to a charity... nothing at all about religion anywhere...

Maybe they used to, but dont anymore?

Ah, makes sense.  I have no idea, I've honestly never gone inside!  I'm sure each place is different too.  Good enough!  I was just curious.

  • Oh I heart them too!!!  It's the only chicken I can eat.  I have had an awful aversion to chicken for the past 2 months.  Chick-fil-a makes me happy!!

  • You all just made me very sad that I don't have a chik-fil-a near me.  :(
  • OH yummmmmm! Guess where we are going for dinner??? My husband and I actually met at Chick Fil A. It was my first job. No, they do not have anything religious in their restaurants. The only thing that they do is close on Sunday, and the only reason they do that is so the employees may spend time with their families. Seriously.
