I'm already on Fenugreek, drinking tons of water, nursing regularly, etc. I'm getting over mastitis, but even the unaffected side is dropping in supply.
We have started solids (at pedi appt 2 weeks ago), but DS had low weight gain the month before we started solids. (Before solids) He gained 12 ounces in about a 6 week period.
I'm so tempted to give up, but I really don't want to yet.
Re: How to increase supply
I know how you feel. I am struggling to keep up with my 3 month old twins, and if I didn't detest formula so much I'd be tempted to give up as well!
What HAS helped me are two things: Mother's Love More Milk Plus supplements (it has fenugreek AND blessed thistle), and drinking a dark beer at night. The beer especially seems to help!
Oatmeal
add a pumping session at night, or in the middle of the night if DC is STTN
I find a beer at night helps too!
