How do you shower with LO?

Sometimes I get up early or wait until later when DH is home.. Other times I put him in the swing/boucy outside the shower and constantly look out.

Re: How do you shower with LO?

  • I put the shower sling on the floor and put DD in that or I hold her and put her down in that until I get out.

  • I wait until DH gets home.
  • Either I wait until she's napping or I put her in her bouncer in the bathroom with me.

  • I try to shower during his first nap.  If that doesn't work out I'll put the bouncer in the bathroom and shower while he's playing with it.

  • If I need to shampoo, I wait until DD is asleep in her crib to take a shower. Otherwise, I prop DD up on the bobby and shower. Sometimes I'll jump out after I'm done and take DD in the shower with me. She loves the water! It really calms her when she's fussy.
  • It depends but usually I'll put her in her bouncy seat or she'll be asleep in her PNP. Occasionally if she's really fussy I'll shower at night when DH gets home.

  • I put dd in her bouncer or bassinet and bring it right into the bathroom with me.  Usually the fan/running water combo keeps her asleep.

  • I put her in her bouncer with her Sophie or fabric book that she chews on and sing to her while I shower.
  • I'm a night showerer anyway, so I just shower before bed when DH has him.

I want to get DS in the bath with me now that he can get wet but just haven't done it yet.... never thought about the shower, but I bet he would like that, too... he LOVES his sink baths

  • She plays in the bouncy chair on the floor of the bathroom while I shower. She has a jolly good time and I get to enjoy a nice steamy relaxing shower.
  • I only have 1 at home right now, but I put him in his carseat in the bathroom with me.
