Everything is normal.
I guess I should be happy about that, but I'm actually extremely disappointed. This was the end of the road for testing for us and every single test we've ever had has come back with normal results. Why can't I get pregnant on my own and why have I had 3 losses, all after IVF? There has GOT to be something wrong...I guess we'll just never know.
We're meeting with the RE on April 22nd to discuss next steps. Not sure where we go from here....any thoughts or ideas?
Re: Just got the call about our RPL panel results
how frustrating!!! I know all you want is answers and you can't get any.
My RE told us that if we did the RPL testing that there was an 80% chance it would come back normal.
Hopefully some of the ladies who have had this testing done can give you some advice.
hugs.
I hear ya! The only thing that came out of my RPL panel is that I have Factor V Leiden. While we can't directly attribute any of my losses to it, my RE proactively has me take Lovenox when cycling. I've still had 2 additional losses. It's so frustrating! I wish I could offer you some advice or other suggestions. My RE can't explain why I've had 4 losses, 3 from IVF and 1 from an IUI despite treating the only "problem". We still have 8 frosties, so we feel like we need to use them but my RE's only suggestion at this point is to try a gestational carrier. Unfortunately, we don't have that kind of money laying around so we'll have to take our chances with our embies and my apparently finicky uterus. :-/
wow, that must be bittersweet news - good to know nothing is wrong, but frustrating b/c there is nothing you can "fix."
i'm sorry you didn't get any answers from your RPL, but good luck deciding on your next steps.
Dang, I was hoping you would get some answers. Have you done the testing that Jenny (tryingtogetpregnant) had done? I can't remember the name right now, but it basically said her uterus was rejecting pregnancies. Look into if you haven't! She's on medication and I think they are able to fix it, or atleast control it?? Good luck!
Hey there....
I'm so sorry it came back normal. Of course, I didn't want anything big, but I know it would have been a relief to have something come back.
Have you had the integrin 3 biopsy? I had one 3 weeks ago and we found that I don't have the integrins in my uterus to implant a baby. There is a 2 month treatment program for it (Depot Lupron injections). Without these injections, there is a slim chance that I could implant a baby. They said one of the "symptoms" of this is repeat m/c's. Just thought I would mention it....page me if you have questions.
I'm sorry you didn't get an answer. I do understand your disappointment. When we got our RPL & chromosome results back, I felt torn. I was glad to find out everything looked OK. However, I really wanted them to find something to "fix" so that we could have a normal pregnancy. It's all so frustrating. I hate thinking we may never know what the issue is.
Good luck with your upcoming appt. I hope your RE has a promising next step for you.
When I got my results (same as yours), I felt the same way. I sorta expected something to be wrong to justify IF and m/c. Glad it all turned out OK... b/c in the long run, that is what you want!
Hoping you have a good RE appt and you get an action plan in place.

I'm sorry you didn't get more answers, IF just fuccken sucks.

It's been a long journey. TTC since 9/06. multiple IUI's and IVF's and 4 m/c's. IVF#3 = BFP, twins, induced at 34w6d due to baby b passing away (no explanation). Delivered on 35w1d, Baby A - baby girl, and Baby B - baby boy, our little angel.

Hey,
I am glad to hear that everything came back ok, but completely understand why it is also a little disappointing. All of our tests have come back normal too, and we have had 4 IVF losses
I am about to start bcps for our 4th fresh cycle, and literally have no answers. I've been trying to get my RE to give me an endometrial biopsy, but he pretty much refuses.
I wish I had some advice for you, and I really hope you find some answers...
