the glucose test. I've read so many people say they've passed it. I'm only 16 weeks so I obviously haven't had the test brought up to me yet. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?? Thanks
It tests for Gestational Diabetes, not Diabetes. Pregnant women produce more hormones and some of those hormones make your body insulin resistance (the insulin your body produces cannot turn the sugar {mainly carbs} you eat into energy) and if they do you have GD.

For example, my friend failed hers so horribly that they wont even do the 3 hour test.
