gluc test....orange flavor yum!

I had my gluc test yesterday. I chose the orange favor vs the cola. I actually liked it. It tasted like an orange Crush soda. I was so worried that it was going to be hard to drink. I had read others say it tasted terrible and some said it gave them a headache later. I don't know what the big fuss was about. Maybe the cola flavor isn't very good.

    I had the orange one and thought it was awful.  It tasted way too fake sweet for me and I hated all the garbage that was in it (colors). It gave me a headache and made me really tired.

    The orange was ok. But, mine was super cold and kept freezing my throat.

    I thought I was the only one!!!  Everyone told me it was awful so I was prepared for the worst, I thought it tasted pretty good.

    Really? Mine was clear....well it was orange but it didn't have any other colors. I guess it's just different at different dr's. I would have thought they would be all the same.

    The 50mg drink wasn't bad at all but for some reason, the 100mg (3 hour test) was super sweet and gross...maybe due to the longer fasting I did.

    Orange was okay but more on the gross side for me. I did like the fruit punch though!

    I have my test next month and chose the orange instead of the fruit punch (I've never been a big fan of fruit punch). DH said that I was crazy for picking the orange, but I will have to tell him it is getting some good reviews, LOL!

    Mine is next friday... I think my only choice will be orange but I am not excited at all about this test.   I hate orange soda.    But love oj.

    lol sorry that does sound confusing. Mine was orange and see through (I guess clear wasn't a good description)  It didn't have anything else in it that I could see. Other than bubbles. :)

    God I hope that it works that way with me.  I am still getting nauseous most days so I am not looking forward to a morning of no eating and drinking a super sweet drink.  You gave me some hope :)
