DH says that I am a "farting machine"

Okay, since I got pregnant...I have to admit I have a lot of gas and that means that I have been farting a lot.  I think to my credit I have been trying to deal with this flatulence privately, but last night I let one go in bed much to my dismay, it was loud and DH heard it from the bathroom.  He came out from brushing his teeth laughing and said "Sunshine...you are a farting machine....lol". 

 Is gas a common ailment during pregnancy? Thanks.  Embarrassed

    I am also a farting machine so don't feel bad every time one sneaks out I say you better have a talk with Junior. ?He is very gassy and DH just laughs at me.

    Oh yeah baby!!  For me it's farting and burping.  I hate having to keep them in all day at work.  When I get home there is so much noise coming from my body it's crazy!

    yes it is! and same here... actually i've finally noticed that half of my m/s is caused by gas... once it's out it feels much better!

    I don't really do it when DH is in the room, but he's obviously very aware of it. He can't touch my boobs right now because they're still sore, so the other night he said "I've had to trade in your hoots for your toots!" I thought that was pretty funny.

    ummm, yeah. My DH actually asked my doctor if it was normal, even though I told him it was. He said "she is gassy, I mean really gassy!" My doctor told my DH to "deal with it and shove it." It was great!
