  Aw, that's rough.  I was torn up when I had to come back to work, but the transition was suprisingly much smoother than I expected.  Good luck!  And, also, good call starting back on a Wednesday.

  Just remember, the first day/week is the worst.  Trust me, it gets easier, just like all things.  I was tore up to go back to work, and I just work part time.  Now, I really enjoy the time sans DD, though I love her.  This age she's at is soooo tiring so work is a break lol.

  I can relate. I just dropped DD off at daycare 20 minutes ago. I will return to work tomorrow. I took an extra day b/c I thought I would need to have some me time before being in the office. This way if I cry today, it's in my own living room, not the mailroom, ykwim?

  Good luck! I had a rough first couple of weeks back, but it does get better. Enjoy your little guy today, and have a great day tomorrow! Hopefully he will let you rest tonight, too!

  Aww, that is such a bittersweet day (at least it was for me).  I was excited to be back among adults a bit, but so sad to leave my little one (though I know you will probably see him a lot still since, from what I remember, you're working at his daycare).  I think I held Will for all his naps that last day and just soaked in the sweet babyness.  Enjoy!
