  Mine is tomorrow morning and I feel the same way. It's hard to be so excited b/c we haven't SEEN the baby since 8 weeks and I'm nervous too! Good luck!!!!

  They will measure the baby via u/s to make sure he/she is right on track

  They will measure different things (head, spine..), make sure the heart has 4 chambers, and that there are 2 kidneys... That kind of stuff.

  Thanks! lots of luck to you too! I have been feeling lots of kicking in the last few days and my belly has gotten considerably larger, so I am telling myself over and over that everything is fine.....

  They measured the baby and amniotic fluid at mine. We looked at the chambers of the baby's heart, her kidneys, brain, and stomach. I think they mainly want to make sure that everything is in the right place and the baby's size is consistent with their approx. age. I thought that the u/s was incredible! I had no idea that we were going to be able to see so much!

  I was nervous too!! ditto what the others said....they will measuring and looking at spinal cord, kidneys, heart, brain etc.....

  even after our tech said everything looked good i still couldnt relax because I kept thinking my doc was going to call after noticing something the tech had missed!  Just relax and enjoy, it really is a fun time!
