maybe not.

I'm beginning to wonder. yesterday the checkout woman at the the grocery store said "hello little boy!" I was wearing ginny and she was facing forward.

are you joking? she is wearing a soft pink knit cap WITH a bow on it and pants with ruffles around the legs.

stoooopid! then again, she mentioned in the same breath that she has a 2 month daughter old AND a 1 year old grand daughter. huh?

    That happened to us in the grocery store too!  I was paying and DH was loading the cart.  The check out lady asked if Hannah was a boy or girl.  Dh looked at her like she was stupid.  She was dressed in all pink and had a pink blanket wrapped around her (the blanket had a green stripe so maybe that made her think boy?).  She also asked her age and when DH told her that Hannah was 1.5 weeks the check out lady said she couldn't be that young because she had so much hair. Hmm

    I used to have a bowl cut hair-do until about the 2nd grade and old ladies at church would call me a cute little boy to my parents (with me right there). And, yeah, I was always in cute little dresses with bows in my hair! People are morons!

    People don't think. I've seen a lot of people automatically call babies "he" regardless of the outfit.

    Now that I have started taking Sophie out more, I get this alot too.  I purposely dress her in pink, and the majority of her stroller toys are pink, her paci is pink, her blanket is girlie, and ppl still ask.  WTH?

    LOL, idiots!  That happened to me at church.  C. was dressed head to toe in pink, had shoes with ballerina laces&bows on the toes, and asked the same thing.  She even asked her name and then gave me the side eye when told her....stuuuuuuuupid woman!!!!
