What do you call your baby?

I was wondering... what all of you are calling your baby as a nickname until you decide on a name?

We are calling ours "Baby Chick". It is part of our last name and has become a bit of a theme. When I see things with baby chicks on them, I buy them! Not everything, but a I have a few things since getting our BFP. So far I have a blanket, hooded towel and a rattle that my brother gave me...all with little yellow chicks on them! I love it! Good thing it is gender neutral!

My sister bought me the cutest little plush thing...it's a baby inside of a peanut. So we've been calling the babe Little Peanut

Or whatever the bump tells me it's the size of...currently Sweet Pea!?

I just call it "the baby" or "baby", but my hubby thinks "kumquat" is the best name ever though.

Our's has a few NNs "Baby P" since our last name starts with P, "Your Child," and "Baby."

Before we started trying, I would refer to "the theoretical Markie Jr." It was my way of trying to refer to our future when it came to saving money, cars, etc. My husband's name is Mark, so I thought it would help drive my point home for him.

Although I may have to apologize to the baby if it ends up being a girl, and for the first 4 months I called it a boy's name.....

We're calling the baby he/him. We don't know what it is, but that's way easier than saying 'he or she' and I refuse to say 'it' about my baby. Luckily we'll know the sex before the baby can start hearing voices outside the womb!

Ribera or just Bera (roll the "r"). Means wash in Spanish. Baby was conceived in a wash on a romantic valentines getaway. A wash for those who do not live in the desert, a wash is a dried up riverbed that only runs when it rains. Was that TMI?

We've been calling the baby William... which is our boy name. We both think it's a boy... not sure why.

But agreed with PP, just easier than saying "he or she" every time.

Today DH was so excited to look up that William is almost the size of a blueberry and, his favorite part, "has a tail!"

We have been referring to our little one as a jellybean and then every fruit (as we get bigger) in the basket! Jellybean seems to have stuck though! Even our families call it our little jellybean.

We refer to the baby as "him" all the time b/c we swear it's a boy, but we also mix in peanut and little bambino:) Today, I told my DH I'm going to start calling the babe "nugget":)

I call the baby gummy bear... it seams to have caught on too, now my entire family is calling the baby gummy bear! I started because to me that's what baby looks like in early u/s, a little gummy bear.
