PSA on nursery furniture!

We bought our Munire furniture from USA Baby in Richfield.  Yesterday when we picked it up, they had a sign up saying that this is the last weekend they will be offering Munire furniture at the current prices.  On April 1st they will go up. 

So if you are thinking about Munire (which I highly recommend, it's a great brand and is beautiful) you might want to check out the pricing this weekend! 

AW: We put together our furniture last night and it's soooooo great!  I'm super excited!  YAY!

    Yay!!  Make sure to send me some pictures!  My dad brought over our first baby gift today - a Vikings outfit with matching bib - I think it's for 6 months, so it will hopefully fit him before football season is over! :)

    Which Munire furniture did you get?  Did they have to special order it for you? If so, how long did it take to arrive?

    We got the Majestic Collection.  And we did have to order it.  They said 10-12 weeks for delivery, but we got the furniture after 2 weeks!

    Oh, wow! We also ordered the Majestic collection in espresso and were told 10-12 weeks, but so far its been 6 weeks! I can't wait to get it and set it up in the baby's room!!

    Which color did you get and did you get the flat top or curved top crib? You should post a pic here of it set up! One more question-- I assume that the crib came unassembled in a box? Was it packaged well so it wouldn't get banged up? Did you order a dresser too? If so, how did that come? They said it comes put together, but was it also in a box of some sort to protect it?

    We got the curved top crib, and the dresser (they call it 'combo', it's not the double dresser) in Walnut.  Both were packaged very tightly and well.  The dresser of course comes put together and it's very, very heavy (so my husband says...poor guy) and the crib was in pieces.  I didn't have to help my husband put the crib together, he could do that on his own (besides I think it's a Daddy's right of passage kind of anyways).  The only thing was that he picked it up and brought it in the house on his own.  I wasn't going to help, and we really wanted the furniture when they called.  So you might want to get your Dad or his Dad to help you guys.  The furniture was in perfect condition, and we are sooooo happy with our purchase.  It looks wonderful!
