so much for clomid making my LP longer...

so I started spotting on Sunday and then AF showed up in full force on Monday.      I suppose only 1 day of spotting is better than the 4-5 I usually have, but that means my LP this cycle was only 10 days?!    without the Clomid, I'd have 11 or 12 day LPs.    is this just a fluke?   i figured, if anything, the Clomid would add a day or two to my LP, not take a day or two away...   

I go in tomorrow for CD3 labs and u/s, so I guess I'll have a chance to ask if this is a problem then.    grrr....

    oh no lady :( Im so sorry....Ive been thinking about you. I was told that Clomid can lengthen your cycle...therefore making your LP longer. I dont know why it shortened your LP though. 10 days is still sufficient though...so I've been told.

    Today is 11dpo and I experienced my first temp drop.....I might be on my way out as well.

    I would talke to your dr. about a progesterone supplement during your LP, sounds like thats what you need.

    I'm so sorry this cycle didn't work out.

    FWIW, clomid made my LP shorter too. This cycle we switched to injectables but I am also taking progesterone supps. They may be worth asking your Dr. about for next cycle.

    i am sorry.  you always have such high hopes for the first medicated cycle..but keep hoping.. it will happen soon.
