How much did you spend on a prenatal massage?

If you don't mind me asking. DH and I are trying really hard to keep to our budget right now, but should have some money freed up soon. After my dog wrestling episode yesterday and RLP I would really love a massage lol!

I haven't gone yet, but a friend of mine is in massage school and she has to do X number of free massages (including so many prenatal) before she graduates in June.

Do you have a massage school near you? They are inexpensive and have instructors that supervise while they do the massages.

I paid $60 with tip for an hour, but my friend does it on the side of her normal job (she's licensed). I used to pay $80 for an hour and a half without tip.

Contact a local massage school, they are SUPER reasonable and need the hours towards graduation. I believe when my friend was in school it was $30 an hour or something. Enjoy it! I need one too!!

I went to a discount place (MassageEnvy, they are national) and got one for 39 bucks. but it wasn't good-- I think i was more kinked up coming out of the massage. Most spas will charge about $70 for an hour massage. worth it to me!

I'm spending about $100 for the spa I go to. My DH is giving it to me as a Mother's Day present and I have to tell you that I can't wait! I definitely think it's worth every penny.

I hadn't thought about trying a school, but I may have to call around and see now! DH went to massage school when he was right out of high school, but he's been working nearly 80 hr. weeks for awhile now and the poor guy is exhausted! I've asked him a few times, but all I've gotten is a weak 5 maybe 10 minute neck rub lol..

At my spa it is $30 for a half hour $ 50 for an hour. I live in a VERY low cost of living area though.

About $110 - including tip. ?However, I will not do it again. ?I didn't think it was worth it. ?Because the pressure is so limited with this type of massage, it really didn't feel that great.

I just found a massage therapist who does half and hour for 25, and a full hour for 50! I am thinking of scheduling one soon!

I live in Naperville, and Stork Snapshots is having a March Madness sale, 1 hour for $60.00, not sure if they have a branch downtonw though.
