I was just thinking about this. ?In my practice, we're monitored so closely to check follicle development, and then when it's determined that we're "ready," we trigger and schedule the IUI for 36 hours later. ?But how do they know that the follicle actually released the egg? ?Is it possible that it doesn't? ?Or that it takes longer than they assume? ?These are questions I need to ask my doctor, but I am not sure when I'll get my next chance to, so I thought I'd see if any of you ladies knew. ?Thx!

Re: How do they know that trigger actually worked?
This last cycle my RE checked my hcg the day of the IUI.
How are you doing? It looks like we are the only two going crazy in the 2ww!!
