Braxton Hicks??

Hey ladies, I feel almost stupid asking this, but when did you start to feel braxton hicks contractions, I mean really FEEl them, last night I kept getting pain on the left and right lower sides of my stomach but cant tell if it was a contraction or round ligament pain, it was very irregular and and both sides would hurt at the same time, almost like a sharp tightening feeling, they last a few hours then just went away. But it scared the crap out of me. This morning it still hurts a bit but not nearly as bad. I am sure it's normal, but it's a bit scary. I tired to do everyhting for round ligament pain that my doctor told me to do (rub it and put ice on it) but that made it alot worse.

    Late 2nd tri with DS. They should not hurt though. If they are painful I would call your Dr.

    Pregnancy #1- 30 weeks.

    This time- 21 weeks. 

    Ditto pp.  My OB said call immediately if there is accompanying cramping or pain; they may be real contractions.
