Hi Ladies
I'm fairly new to posting. I received my calendar for 1st IVF cycle.
I start lupron on 4/13/09, take last BC pill on 4/17/09, start Follitism and low dose HCG on 4/24/09. ER will be around May 4th.
This will be our first treatment cycle of any kind. Due to my endo and DH's low morphology our RE felt IVF with ICSI was our best option.
I am excited but also scared. It's so overwhelming, especially the fact that we had to go straight to IVF.
Any cycle buddies?
Lisa
Re: Received my calendar for 1st IVF cycle- excited and overwhelmed
Hi Lisa!
I will be very near you in schedule. I start Lupron this Friday (4/3), take my last bcp 4/9, go in for my E2 and baseline on 4/16, then start stims on 4/21 (Gonal-f and Repronex). ER will be either May 1 or 2, and we are shooting for a three day transfer with assisted hatching...and the embryo(s) will be transfered into my cousin...my gestational carrier.
I've done this before (2 IVF's and 1 FET), unfortunately, so if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask away!!!

3 IUI's, 2 IVF's , 1 FET , 1 IVF w/ Gestational Carrier, and 1 FET using adopted embryo's = ALL BFNs

After 22 cycles and tube removal our IVF miracle has arrived! Detailed IF and IVF info in bio.
Hi Kristen!
Thanks! I'm really nervous about the injections, soo not a fan of needles but I'm hoping that once I get started it won't be as bad as I'm imagining.
I've also started acupuncture once a week and when I start stims she wants me to come very two days. I'm going to be a human pin cushion! lol
I hope I'm right there with you. ?I go to the RE tomorrow to see if my monster (54!) cyst has gone away. ?then it's on to injections.
This is my first injection cycle too. ?My husband also has really bad morph so it's right into IVF.
?Hope it's a good cycle for all of us!?
I was not a big needle person either, but the Lupron and stim needles are SOOOOO tiny, you become a pro at it. I'm actually looking forward to starting my Lupron as I know that is a sign that things will really start to move quickly.
