PIP: The boy won't take a nuk, but...

...he sure can get that thumb way in there!

After this, he proceeded to poke himself in the eye and wail his head off.

  • LOL! My neice refused the binks too, but now they can't get her to quit sucking her thumb...

    Aw, he is so CUTE!

I forced Emi to take the nuk. Just keep giving it to him. She only takes it when she is sleeping though.

  • I will keep trying.  I can take a nuk away eventually, but not his thumb!

  • DS is loving the thumb too (check sig pic) I know it is going to be killer to get away from him in the future I would rather him use a paci.
  • DD sucks her left pointer only when sleeping or sick. However it is constantly swollen and has a husge sore in it from doing this. I've taken her to the Ped a few times for this!
  • My oldest DD was a finger (two fingers actually) sucker.  He refused the nuk even though I would put it in time and time again.  No use.  The whole time he was sleeping he would have his fingers in his mouth.  He sucked them into his teens (and maybe still does and he's in his 20's...I obviously don't watch him sleep now!).  My grandson sucks his thumb and my DD was constantly putting the paci in his mouth.  He refused, refused, refused.  He is 2 and still sucks his thumb and doesn't look like he is going to stop anytime soon.  She herself sucked the binding on her blanket...yuk!
