thinking of buying one for Sam for his 2nd birthday. Looking for something other than plastic. And it need not take bateries or make any noise of any kind!
What do you have? Do you like it?
Thnaks.

we bought a nice but pricey wooden one from Hearthsong... but I only see it on their website around Christmas time. They do a deal with 3 pieces and the stainless steal looking pots and pans around that time. There is also a washer/dryer set and a microwave set to the brand... but we're not going that far. Maybe if dd had a playhouse.... but we're in a townhouse, so that's not happening. As far as like it.. LOVE IT... it survived a big move (& the movers) and dc love it! it's big enough that they will be able to use it for many years to come.
We have this one, and I love it. I wanted: fairly small, easily carried (we move it into our kitchen when I am cooking), wood, and decent looking. This one comes with some utensils, some pieces of food that you can "cut" (wuih the velcro), etc. DS really likes it and a few of his friends have the same one and like it as well.
We got DD a KidKraft for xmas. Its very nice. When puttng it together (after a few beers) DH cracked the back piece. They sent a new one no questions asked. She loved it. It comes in Pastels and primary colors and a few different sizes.
