YAY! We may have rented our house out!!!
A woman who wanted to buy our house but couldn't qualify for a loan is very interested in renting it. She's negotiating with our realtor right now and hopefully will sign a lease within the next few days and move in within the next 2 weeks.
Not only is she interested in renting it, she's wanting to stay there for 2-3 years minimum and wants to buy it eventually.
This would be a HUGE financial relief. Her rent would cover all but $150 of our monthly mortgage payment. Please send your best vibes our way that this works out.
ETA: It might sound a little scary that she couldn't get a loan, but FWIW a) she's going through a divorce and b) it's not easy to get loans right now, in case anyone hasn't tried recently. We barely got our refi to go through, and we have pretty stellar credit.

We'll leave CA at the end of June. DS and I will spend July with my parents while DH is in Greece working, and then we'll complete our move to MA in August.
