Hello from l&d. My parent's brought my laptop. Thanks for the well wishes in the other post! I was just checked and I'm 3cm. They just started the pitocin. I'm nervous about pitocin contractions.

They do hurt, but don't be afraid to ask for something if you want it. If you are trying to go natural, I wish you the best!!!

Yes they do! Pitocin contractions are extra intense! Hang in there until your epidural comes! And then update us again when you're feeling good!

Pit contractions do suck. Ask for the epi soon (since they have to push saline before giving the epi). It's exciting that you're nesting......it's like having a front row seat in l & d!

Yes they do! I asked for my epi within minutes of feeling my first pitocin contraction, then all was good. I hope you get some relief soon and have a smooth rest of your labor and delivery.
