Which swing?

We have a great tree in the backyard for a swing, so I was thinking about getting Mads one for this summer while the Little Tykes sale is going on at TRU. Which one do you think would be best?

Re: Which swing?

  • We just got J the 2-in-1 swing (for $2 at a consignment sale & it looks brand new!!!). He really liked it when we tried him out in it yesterday & they make it in PINK!

  • We have the first one and love it.
  • We bought the first one for the girls because it goes up to 4 years instead only 3 years like the second one. ?We figured it was only a couple dollars more and would last a whole extra year! ?They LOVE the swing!

    Good luck!?

  • Another thought...the blue one is much easier to get them in and out of. ?I've used the red one also, and it can be a bit of a pain to get them in and out of...but the blue one the red piece swings all the way down, so you just sit them in and then pull it up and strap them in. ?Plus it has the greatest support, the girls were swinging in it at 6 months old and Jeremiah can sit in it and swing now (of course not very high, but he loves to sit in it and watch the girls play).

    Good luck!!?

Well, if they make it in pink then the choice is clear!!! Big Smile I think I need to start getting to consignment sales earlier...or maybe consigning some of  my stuff so I can shop early! I've found some ok deals but nothing that good.

    Thanks for the advice ladies!

    ?

Definitely either consign or volunteer b/c the "preview sale" is where the deals are! Our MOPS sale was this weekend and it was almost wiped out just after the preview sale. My mom bought J a ton of toys and I got SO many good deals on clothes! ?I got all this for $32...Children's Place (new with tags!), Izod, Polo, Nautica, Hannah Anderson and a cute Baby Gap pin-stripe suit for a wedding we're going to in June!
