I'm on my 2nd cycle of Clomid. The last cycle wasn't bad at all. This cycle, I'm hurting! I have the worst cramps I've ever had. They feel way worse than actual cramps. I don't ovulate on my own at all, so I don't know if my body is just revolting because it's being forced to ovulate via drugs. Is this normal?
Re: terrible cramps w/Clomid?
I've taken Clomid (50mg) 5x, and have never exprienced cramps. However, I do ovulate on my own, so like you said, it may be your body's way of prepping for ovulation?! I'd call the RE just in case... want to make sure it is normal
Hope you feel better.

I'm on rd 4 of 200mg clomid. I didn't respond to the first 2. The 3rd rd was 150 mg, and I did O. I had dull achiness around my ovaries for a couple of days, and then when I ovulated it was a sharp pain on my right side. I don't ovulate on my own either, so this was a big deal to me too. It hurt. I wouldn't consider it cramping. Achiness is the best description to me.
I'm experiencing the achiness again this time as well. No O yet (I'm on CD 17). I didn't O till CD 21 last time.
I would call your dr if your having alot of pain. Could be a cyst.
